The photo [c. mid 1940s] belongs to Joyce Baninbridge and shows the railway carriage that used to be located half way down Church Street towards the Church on the river side(east side) of the street. At one time it was occupied by the Kirtons, and was used as a home until the 1950s or 60s, when a brick bungalow replaced it. A Lion and Unicorn were features of the front garden .
